Just moved to LA, and held off trying to find a barber until I was recommended Andy. Instantly, he built rapport, acknowledged a lack of trust exists with first time cuts, and outlined how he cuts hair and his approach. Instantly had my trust and he gave an incredible haircut. Additionally, wicked friendly, thoughtful, and genuine. Bringing back what a barbershop should be after that somewhat disappeared after Covid.
Not to mention very fair pricing for the skill level he has.
I’ve never written a single review on any app in my life, but this is a special unique occasion. Andy has been my only barber for the last 4 years, and when he told me his plans to open his own shop I was excited to see his vision turn to reality. The Barbers Lounge is top notch and exactly what West LA needed. Clean shop with chill laid back energy. He will do his best to take walk ins but I recommend scheduling ahead. He does it all while staying on time and never making his clients feel rushed. He can carefully follow instructions, but also has a skilled creative eye if you want to try out some new styles. Andy truly is the best barber on the westside. He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and at home in his shop. Cool set up with a pool table and arcade game while you wait. And he’s always willing to work with you so you can walk out the shop feeling confident and satisfied.
Andy does a great job for both myself and my son! He’s super great with kids and has a mini arcade game and a pool table in the lounge. He takes his time and talks with you to make sure he gets you taken care of the way you want and makes you look good! Super friendly and welcoming.
Andy's shop is awesome! He's communicative and responsive. Andy opened early to accommodate my wedding party and made us feel right at home. He's created an awesome shop with a great vibe, 10/10!
I got my haircut by this guy Andy 8 months ago... my first cut in LA ever I had just moved from Kentucky! I went back to the spot to for another cut an Andy was gone.... But today I picked a random barbershop and found out Andy has his own shop!!!! Cool vibe great cuts come check him out!!!!
We were lucky enough to meet Andy by chance when he worked at a chain salon, and my three boys have not had anyone else cut their hair since! He is very skilled, but the best part is the way he connects with my boys and chats with them while he works. They get excited when it’s time for a cut
